Quince (Karin) is a representative precious wood of Southeast Asia. Its hard, dense texture and deep color have made it a popular material for high-end furniture, crafts, and musical instruments since ancient times. Particularly rare are the "burls" that occasionally appear on the trunk and base of the tree, revealing a fantastical "burl grain" inside.
