This incense box is made from domestically produced zelkova wood.
We have set the price to be very affordable.
It comes in a domestically produced paulownia wood box.
Zelkova trees are widely distributed in the temperate regions of East Asia.
All of our zelkova wood is sourced from domestically grown trees in Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and other parts of Japan.
Zelkova wood imported from overseas is grown in environments different from those in Japan, making it prone to cracking and warping, and therefore unstable.
When our products are described as having an oil finish, we use "Odie's Oil," the world's highest quality natural oil.
As this is a standard product, the wood grain will be of the same quality as shown in the photos.
